Quotes from our team

“After three decades of naval service, I've handled everything from search and rescue operations to international peacekeeping missions. But this Pacific crossing represents something uniquely powerful. The discipline, teamwork, and resilience I learned in the Navy will be crucial, especially during those challenging night shifts. The ocean commands tremendous respect—it's about time we used its challenges to inspire the next generation of adventurers and leaders.”

Kevin Watkins
Team Captain

"What matters most is the journey and who you share it with. Felix embodied that spirit—we'd challenge each other to push harder, go further, dream bigger. His passion for bringing others along on adventures was contagious. Now, with every stroke across the Pacific, we're not just honoring his memory; we're creating opportunities for young people to experience the transformative power of outdoor challenges, just as Felix would have wanted."

Completing an Ironman showed me that our bodies can achieve incredible things, but cycling across the country taught me that true endurance is mental. During those long days in the saddle, I learned that discomfort is temporary, but regret lasts forever. When we're out there on the Pacific, tired and sore from rowing, I'll remember pushing through the hardest moments of my endurance challenges—how every moment of doubt turned into triumph when we persevered. That's the feeling we want to share with young adventurers who might not otherwise get the chance.
